Thought I’d include this Ian Rush piece I’ve been working on recently. Haven’t quite decided how im going to finish it off yet but it would be good to get some early feedback on it. I’m actually considering doing a series of monochrome designs in this style so stay tuned.

There’s a couple of really good images from his biography, one when he first plays for liverpool and the older players take the p!$$ out of his dress sense and music – all skinny jeans and cool young music, they persuade him to convert to the chinos and phil collins look. The other is of him as a Juve player drinking in this cafe in the city after matches chatting with the fans and enjoying the italian experience.
Excellent – he was (and still probably is) my idol! Could finish it with a small golden liverbird in a corner or for a twist, put him in a Juve shirt – might suit the monochrome?
