This particular piece seemed to divide people right down the middle, they either got it or they didn’t (which surprised me to be honest). The player in question is Norman ‘Bites your Legs’ Hunter. So with such an iconic nickname I wondered how best to represent it without going for the easy option of teeth marks in someone’s calf etc.
Contrary to what some people have thought, the object at the centre of this piece is in fact some dental floss (other suggestions have included a paper shredder and more worryingly a washing machine). The background is an enlarged version of the 1970′s Leeds Utd badge as worn by Hunter and his team mates.
