Socrates – Be As You Wish To Seem

Having heard the sad news that Socrates had been readmitted to hospital, I decided to do an illustration that celebrated the mark he made on the game.
My intention for this piece was to blur the lines between the midfielder and his Greek philosopher namesake.

I did consider it but wondered if it would cheapen the strap line etc?
That beard is a labyrinth. Can you make one with a fag hanging out of his mouth?
I need this in frame-able poster form immediately.
