This should hopefully be the last in the Edgar Davids series, bringing the grand total up to four. I do have a slight concern that one of the objects which ties this whole piece together might not be recognised by a lot of people.

The object I’m referring to is the referees ‘alternate’ whistle. The idea being he has a regular whistle for regular players, but also carries a dog whistle for ‘The Pitbull’.
