A tribute to the Dutch Master… Johan Cruyff. Basically i wanted to play with the idea of ownership regarding the Cruyff Turn, hence the copyright symbol. But I also wanted to show it in all its glory, especially as its original entrance to World Football was a “blink and you’ll miss it” 9 second affair.

I like where you’re going with these. Have to admit, I don’t “get” all of them. The Cruyff Turn is brilliant! Keep it up! You could do one of Zidane, Gerrard, among others..
I love your posters, especially the ones that represent a time/era and personify them as a player. A few ideas i had were (you can i am a spurs fan):
* GAZZA: Everything Italia 90 related has been done. I was thinking about portraying him in pop art esqu style blasting the ball with a “POW” or “BANG” for his free kick goal against arsenal in the 1991 FA Cup Semi Final.
*KLINSMANN :Use the famous Dive celebration and link it with the start of a new age of football of world calss foreign players comming to the sky enriched premier leage which his arrival heralded.
* HODDLE: Contrast the drudgery of 80′s Britain with the flair of Hoddle’s football and New Romantic Music.
* ZIDANE: Manga Style depiction of the exquisitely balanced zen like monk who was equally an explosively leathly Ninja Assasin. Maybe you can in corporate the ying-yang symbol to illustrate the two sides of the man.
I have won the battle with my wife and your Cruyff poster now adorns our Kitchen
Cheers
