Introduction and navigation tips

Since the site has recently undergone a massive redesign, I thought it best if i try to explain the reasons behind it and to give a little background to the site itself.

When i first started this site the intention was to document the first 100 issues of the long standing Middlesbrough fanzine Fly Me To The Moon. However, as time passed i realised i needed to keep people interested / entertained while i worked on that back catalogue.

The two additional areas i decided to focus on were football related illustrations and ex-player interviews.

However, as these new sections became more and more popular the original focus of the site began to get a little blurred. I knew i needed to give all three sections equal weighting, which is why i decided to change the look and feel of the site

Navigation Tips

If you click on the + sign (situated top right), it should reveal three columns. These columns should include an introduction, recent comments and a categories list.

These options can be accessed at any time by clicking the + sign.

Beneath these three columns is a search field, which can also be accessed at any time. To close all of these options, click the ‘up’ arrow to the left of the search field, or click the cross icon (top right).

The intention of the new design is that it be read like a book. Clicking the left / right arrows which appear on the edge of each page should turn the pages in that direction. If no arrows appear (like on this page) it means no additional pages exist for that particular section.

At the foot of each page (bottom left) there should be an additional ‘up’ arrow. Clicking this icon will return you to the top of that particular page.

I didnt think the main navigation buttons i.e. Home / Info / Shop or Interviews required any real instructions, other than hovering over them reveals additional sections, for example Info > Links etc

Anyway, thats about it really, use the browser back button or go straight to the + sign (top right) if you get lost. Hope you enjoy the site.
